The strangest things about Manly is it has two sides with many beaches as it is towards the end of a long peninsula. It is only a five or ten minute walk from the above harbour side beach to the ocean side where the surfers and swimmers go to town on the huge waves. In the middle are shops, restaurants and hotels. The ferry from the city centre docks just a few metres to the right of the above scene at Manly Wharf.
