My second visit to a botanical gardens in Australia but this time I was really impressed, firstly with the size and secondly with the massive variety of plant life. After spending the whole day there walking around, looking at the wildlife and views of the city it should be high on any visitors must see list. Obviously you don't need to spend all day there but I would at the very least recommend a walk through the gardens towards Mrs Macquarie's chair and then back around the bay to the Opera House.
