Parrot at KL Bird Park

Parrot at KL Bird Park

Boasting the world's largest free flight walk in aviary, the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is home to more than 300 birds across 200 species. That said getting half decent photographs of any of the birds is a huge challenge, which I really enjoyed. This parrot was waiting for tourists to take his photograph so I thought I would do my best. I think he even gave me a smile! The best thing about the bird park is that for many of the birds you do not have a fence or netting between your camera and the bird, making it much easier than many of the zoos I have visited in the past.
