This luxury hotel resort is at the top of the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The palm itself is probably best seen from the air, as it is an artificial group of islands in the shape of a palm tree that is 3 by 3 miles and has a total area larger than 800 football pitches. Well I decided that although images from a helicopter or plane would have been fun, it isn't happening on this trip. So I took the monorail and above is the view through the window of the hotel.
