Lower Slaughter is a very small village in the Cotswold district of the English county of Gloucestershire. As it was the middle of June and the sun was out we found that all the famous Cotswold sights were very busy with coaches full of tourists. However, the road in and out of Lower Slaughter is too tight for coaches to get to the village, so it was much quieter. Above is Vine House on the bank of the River Eye that flows through the centre of the village.
