Bantam Chicks

by Ed O'Keeffe in Animals and Birds

Bantam Chicks

Bantam chickens are originally from Southeast Asia and are smaller than most European breeds (as are their eggs). Being miniatures their chicks are even more adorable. Above we can see two chicks walking along the road for the first time. Obviously their mother wasn't too far away! Anyone who has photographed birds like these before (especially the chicks that tend to stick closely together) knows how hard it is to get them on their own.
