Ash Lea House Light Langdale

by Ed O'Keeffe in England, Lake District

Ash Lea House is probably the most picturesque house I have photographed in the Lake District National Park in years. Particularly when the sun is shinning directly onto the stone and slate textures of the walls and roof. The bright red front door really catches the eye. I pulled the car over into a nearby pub car park and keep walking further and further away from the house until there was no sky in the frame, zooming in close to get the image I had seen as I turned the corner into the valley.
