This very unique looking modern building was designed by Enric Miralles a Spanish architect and built between 1999 and 2004. Being the home of Scottish politics there was obviously quite a public outcry when it's construction cost £414 million pounds in comparison to the estimated costs of between £10 and £40 million! That said I do think the building is photogenic, epically at dusk through a wide angle lens as above.
