Stood on the less photographed, east side of the Colosseum, I was treated to quite a different view. Obviously on my first day in Rome I walked down to this part of the city and before getting my camera out I walked all the way around the ancient and world famous amphitheatre. It was the massive wall on the right that stood out and this was one of the first photographs I captured of the building, taken with a 10mm super wide angle lens and with the distortion digitally corrected in post production.
