After a portrait photo shoot in the afternoon a few of us stayed in Blackpool and waited around in the cold for nightfall. There was a reasonable sunset and we watched truck loads of fireworks being towed onto the beach. After a couple of hours wait this was the result. It was the final night of fireworks and it took place between South and Central Piers. Last time I was able to attend a competition was 2007 when they had the fireworks focused around North Pier.
