In my opinion this is the hardest stunt to photograph. After seeing the Red Arrows in action on three separate occasions I finally nailed this exposure at Farnborough Airshow 2008. This was also the first time I had seen them do such a close double cross over like this. I wasn't in the perfect place, but the light really worked in my favour here and I feel that the smoke trails add to the image. Just a quick disclaimer, I have no idea what the technical name for this stunt is so I just call it a double cross over. I am sure there is a cooler name, but unfortunately I don't know it.
